As a Cashier at Red Barn Market, you will be the face of our store, interacting with customers and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout. Your friendly demeanour, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are essential for this role. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have weekend availability, we’d love to have you join our team! Please note that we are looking for someone with daytime, evening, and weekend availability.

Responsibilities
Customer Service: Greet customers, scan items, and process payments accurately and efficiently.
Cash Handling: Count and manage cash, process credit card and Barn Bucks card transactions, and provide change.
Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our products to assist customers with inquiries.
Bagging and Packaging: Bag groceries neatly.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean and organized.
Assist Other Departments: Help the grocery department and other departments with stocking or other tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Availability: Daytime, evening,



and weekend availability required.
Customer-Focused: Friendly, approachable, and eager to assist customers.
Attention to Detail: Accurate in handling cash and scanning items.
Communication Skills: Explicit verbal communication and active listening.
