Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Assistant to join our team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production of plastic parts.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the manufacturing of plastic parts, which includes mixing and weighing material. Sorting, counting, and packing parts. The occasional use of hand tools.
Read production sheets for accuracy.
Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintaining a clean work workplace
Collaborate with other team members.
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing workplace is preferred, but not required.
Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to learn.
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues is a plus.
Requirements:
Ability to be on your feet all day, lift 25kg comfortably, and adapt to changing priorities.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
