Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a protected living workplace
Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor health status and report any changes or concerns promptly
Skills
Proven experience in assisted living or home care environments
Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior care and dementia support
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in hospice care settings
Knowledge of nursing home procedures and caregiving best practices
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
