Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to verify safety standards and mechanical condition
Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, delivery logs, and freight manifests
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations





Qualifications
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks
Robust understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency

Pay: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
