Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Build and maintain water supply systems and waste disposal systems.
Perform heavy lifting as required to transport materials and equipment.
Weld pipes and fittings as necessary to ensure secure connections.
Plumb HVAC systems to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
Read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or needed repairs.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience (2yrs)
as a plumber with a valid journeyman license.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and fittings.
Ability to read blueprints accurately to follow project plans.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Robust communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
