We are looking for a caring, dependable and compassionate Disability Support Qualified (DSP) to join our team. This can be a very rewarding job. We provide on-the-job training and support for the right person.
What does a DSP do?
At it's heart, the job is about being there for someone and helping them have a positive day.
Depending on the day you might:
Spend time together and provide companionship
Help with everyday routines
Prepare meals or help with household tasks
Go out into the community
Encourage independence and participation in activities
Have conversations, laugh and build positive relationships
Experience in disability support, healthcare, caregiving or a related field is an asset, but it is not required. We will provide training for the right candidate.
