Job detailsLocation: Castlegar, BC V1N 2W8Salary: $18.00 hourly; hours: 30‑40 per week.Employment: Permanent, full‑time.Shift schedule: early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, flexible hours. Overtime available.Start date: as soon as possible.ResponsibilitiesBring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tablesClean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal unitsClear and clean tables, trays and chairsLoad buspans and traysOperate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatwarePlace dishes in storage areaReplenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areasSanitize and wash dishes and other items by handScour pots and pansKeep records of the quantities of food usedPackage take‑out foodPortion and wrap foodsPrepare, heat and finish simple food itemsServe customers at counters or buffet tablesStock refrigerators and salad barsTake customers' ordersUse manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffsClean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipmentHandle and store cleaning productsReceive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areasRemove kitchen garbage and trashSweep, mop, wash and polish floorsWash, peel and cut vegetables and fruitWork settingRural area.
