Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Maxident
Support front desk staff by handling patient check-ins
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards to ensure safety and compliance
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration in good standing
Proven experience with dental assisting in surgical procedure,root canal and restorative procedures.Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and patient communication
Ability to operate digital imaging and radiography purposes
Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and clinical supplies
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members
