Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items according to recipes and standards
Cook dishes with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation practices in the kitchen
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout shifts




Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed

Skills
Proven experience in serving or food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced workplace
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff
Knowledge of the food industry trends and customer service principles is a plus
Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
