Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately loading, unloading, and managing inventory in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires proficiency with warehouse management systems, order fulfillment processes, and equipment operation such as forklifts and reach trucks. The Shipper/Receiver plays a crucial part in ensuring timely shipping and receiving operations to support seamless warehouse distribution and e-commerce order processing.

Responsibilities
Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and purchase orders
Prepare products for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging orders
Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders accurately using order picker tools
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements within the warehouse management system
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all loading, unloading, and storage activities
Support warehouse distribution operations to optimize workflow efficiency





Qualifications
Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution preferred, prior work within a lumber yard would be a asset.
Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts and reach trucks required
Robust basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
Experience with order picking, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload procedures
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Valuable organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and inventory management
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety standards
Warehouse experience in e-commerce or similar industries is desirable
