We are a staffing firm that hires staff for all hospitality positions. We are currently looking to hire staff for our clients throughout the Calgary area.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events and banquets, ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. You will work closely with the catering team to deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

These positions are part-time on-call positions available.

Responsibilities
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and decorations.
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are accurate.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of food items as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during events.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations at all times.




Assist in the breakdown of events by clearing tables and cleaning up after service.

Skills
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
Prior experience in a banquet setting an asset
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Robust communication skills with a focus on guest services.
Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
Must have or obtain ProServe certification prior to start date

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
