How tend works
Set your own availability
Set your own hourly rate
Choose how far you’re willing to travel
Families can only book you during availability you have posted
Review confirmed booking details directly in the platform
Log completed care hours through tend
Receive payment through the platform after completed bookings
You remain in control of when and where you make yourself available. Hours and bookings are not guaranteed.
Requirements
To go live on tend, sitters must:
Be 18 years of age or older
Have relevant childcare experience
Hold or obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Hold current First Aid & CPR certification
(BLS for healthcare professionals is also accepted)
Provide two childcare references
Complete government-issued ID verificationEvery application and completed profile is individually reviewed by tend before going live.
