We specialize in heavy duty equipment repair, mostly focusing on commercial trucks and trailers. We are looking for a talented In shop Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Edmonton, AB.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate day-to-day shop activities in a timely manner
Lead and mentor a safe work environment
Collaborate with all departments to ensure jobs are completed properly and on time
Communicate with customers in a professional manner
Train and coach new employees
Plan an even workflow and oversee jobs in progress
Employment Qualifications:
Must be a certified Heavy Duty Technician or equivalent
2 years experience as a Heavy Duty Technician in a truck service facility
Volvo, Mack,
International and Cummins experience an asset
CVIP License is an asset
Must be organized, skilled, and a valuable communicator
Must be able to work safely in a high-pressure workplace
Intermediate computer skills necessary (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn to dealer specific software programs
