At Sixth Sense Resources, our goal is to recruit skilled Electricians for clients we are partnered with. We are seeking motivated Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians to support electrical installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting tasks across projects in Alberta.
The Successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe work practices. This chance is suitable for registered apprentices looking to continue developing their trade as well as experienced Journeymen Electricians capable of working independently and supporting apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and components
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blue prints, and schematics
Install conduit, wiring, electrical panels, controls and related equipment
Splice, connect and terminate electrical wiring and components
Test electrical systems and circuits to identify faults
Follow applicable electrical codes, company procedures and project requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace
Complete required work documentation and safety paperwork
Work with supervisors, other trades and project personnel
Journeymen may provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to apprentices
Qualifications
Registered as an apprentice Electrician or recognized Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal endorsement is highly preferred)
Previous commercial, industrial, construction or related electrical experience is an asset
Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
