Duties
Safely operate your own commercial truck to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle, including brakes, tires, lights, and engine components, performing basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain optimal performance
Verify shipment documentation, coordinate with dispatchers for route planning, and ensure timely delivery of freight to customers




Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details in compliance with federal regulations
Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the road
Assist with warehouse operations when required, including forklift operation for loading/unloading freight

Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance
