Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our daytime team supporting the daily operations of our cat care facility. This role is vital in ensuring a clean, protected, and comfortable environment for our animals while providing excellent customer service to pet owners. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
Welcome clients and cats during check-in and check-out
Verify client information and process payments
Review pet health history and care instructions
Feed and provide medication according to established schedules and protocols
Observe and assess cat behaviour for signs of illness or distress
Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards
Communicate clearly with team members and clients
Qualifications

Comfortable handling cats and following care instructions and protocols
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
