Osco requires a concrete finisher to be a part of our team removing and replacing sidewalks, driveways, steps etc., in residential and commercial settings.
Please note - this is a short term seasonal position only.
Basic work tasks / skills include:
Setting proper elevations and installing formwork
Placing and finishing redi-mix concrete
Organizing materials and equipment for jobs.
Using equipment such as skid steers for moving, loading and unloading of materials
Patching, caulking and other concrete related duties as required
Performing inspections on equipment in yard and then safely transporting to site
Participating in safety meetings
Minimum job qualifications:
Valid Class 5 license and clean abstract - MUST HAVE
Physically fit, and able to complete all work required for the position.
Experience towing trailers and equipment.
Fluent in English to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors, crew, and customers.
Mostly Monday to Friday with Saturdays as work requires.
Wage $29 to $40.00 per hour based on previous experience and ability.
