We are seeking a dedicated Yard & Warehouse Associate to support our daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure seamless material flow for our team and job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from delivery trucks in a secure and efficient manner.
Provide a high level of customer service
Prepare orders accurately based on sales slips and delivery documentation.
Safely operate forklifts and other yard equipment after receiving proper certification.
Receive and verify incoming shipments against bills of lading or purchase orders.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to the manager on site.
Perform regular yard and warehouse housekeeping duties, including grass cutting and trimming, and snow removal.
Maintain clear and safe aisles, walkways, and loading zones.
Follow and promote all company health and safety policies, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use and hazard reporting.
Participate in training sessions and toolbox talks as scheduled.
Support other tasks or departments as required by Management
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid G Class Driver’s License in valuable standing.
Robust attention to detail paired with excellent communication skills
Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and advance within the company (such as pursuing Generator Technician training)
Prior experience operating a skid steer is considered an asset
