We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand/Cook to help Java branch into the bistro cafe business. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, eager to learn, and dedicated to maintaining a clean and effective kitchen operation. A minimum of one year’s experience is required
Duties
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
Support baristas in prepping food for customers (warming and plating or boxing)
Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
Serve food efficiently to customers or staff while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude
Help with stock management by receiving deliveries, checking inventory levels, and storing ingredients properly
Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone
