Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water & Sewer Pipelayer to join our construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining water and sewer pipelines with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lay and install water and sewer pipelines according to project specifications and safety standards
Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, fitting, and securing piping systems
Manage the rigging of heavy materials and equipment to ensure protected lifting and placement
Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
Experience
Prior experience with heavy equipment operation including excavator, backhoe, bucket truck,
and bucket operation is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge related to water and sewer installation is preferred
Knowledge of safety procedures for working around heavy machinery and underground utilities is essential
Previous work in water or sewer infrastructure projects will be considered an asset
