Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our construction team as a Carpentry Apprentice / Framer. As a Carpentry Apprentice / Framer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various tasks on construction sites. This is a physically demanding position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a quick-paced environment. 2 years minimum framing / carpentry experience preferred, but willing to hire the right motivated candidate with less experience and a robust willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
Assist with the set-up and clean-up of construction sites
Load and unload materials and equipment
Operate construction tools / equipment
Perform carpentry tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and assembling material
Framing walls, floors, and roofs
Install windows, doors and other fixtures
Install metal and trim
Read blueprints and follow building plans




Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Requirements
2 years minimum framing / carpentry experience preferred
Knowledge and proficiency in building methods, tools, and equipment used in framing / carpentry
Comfortable with working at heights
Must have own transportation and valid driver's license.
Punctual and reliable
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to multi-task and follow instructions and work well in a team
Well developed problem solving skills
Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
Some personal tools (pouch, hammer, tape measure, work boots, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy required and ability to work efficiently
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
