Are you a dynamic communicator with a passion for helping people and driving sales? We’re seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Customer Support & Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team!

In this role, you’ll be the friendly voice that assists customers, manages inquiries, and promotes our products and services. This is an entry-level role with full on-the-job training, ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, staying organized, and helping customers find solutions, at our office in Abbotsford.

Over time, this role will grow into sales development and lead generation, including outbound calls and identifying new business opportunities.

Western Turf Farms is one of British Columbia’s most established sod growers, supplying premium turf to homeowners, landscapers, municipalities, and commercial projects across the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island.

What You’ll Do

This role supports the sales team and ensures customers receive rapid, skilled service.

Customer & Sales Support
Answer incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries
Respond to customer questions about sod products and services




Assist customers with quotes, product information, and scheduling deliveries
Follow up on sales inquiries and leads

Sales Coordination
Track incoming leads and sales activity in the company CRM
Coordinate with operations and delivery teams
Prepare basic sales quotes and documentation
Help ensure smooth communication between customers and the sales team

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need sales experience to start — we’re happy to train the right person.

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication and customer service skills
A friendly and professional phone manner
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfort using computers, email, and basic office software
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to multitask in a busy office setting

Bonus (not required):
Previous sales or customer service experience
Experience using CRM systems
Interest in landscaping, construction, or outdoor products

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
