Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance
Verify delivery orders, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately in company systems
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment at all times
Assist with inventory management by inspecting freight for damages or discrepancies during loading and unloading
Skills
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
Experience with freight handling and logistics coordination
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy loads regularly

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
