Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and creating a welcoming shopping workplace. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a positive attitude to ensure a smooth checkout process and enhance customer satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to assist diverse clientele. Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure success in the role.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS systems
Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods accurately and efficiently
Provide product information, conduct product demos when necessary, and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and welcoming
Communicate effectively with customers regarding store policies, promotions, and product features




Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve customer experience
Uphold phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers over the phone
Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times

Experience
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and merchandising principles are beneficial
Solid communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
Ability to maintain professionalism with excellent phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
Knowledge of technology sales or product demos is a bonus for engaging customers in technical or electronic products

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
