Green City Landscaping is looking for a reliable and hardworking Landscape Maintenance Worker to join our team servicing commercial properties throughout the Sidney and Greater Victoria area.
This position will primarily involve weeding and maintaining garden beds and landscaped areas. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work efficiently, and is comfortable spending the day outdoors.
Starting wage: $21.25/hour
Wage increases are available based on reliability, performance, and increased responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Weeding and maintaining garden beds
Removing weeds, debris, and unwanted vegetation
Keeping landscaped areas clean and presentable
General landscape maintenance and property cleanup
Using basic hand tools and landscaping equipment as required
Working efficiently to complete scheduled properties
Maintaining a professional appearance while working at commercial sites
Following instructions and completing work to Green City Landscaping's standards
What We're Looking For
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to perform physical work throughout the day, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attention to detail
Landscaping experience is an asset, but not required, we are willing to train the right person
