We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Punjabi Speaking Home Support Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance and care to individuals in their own homes, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your energetic approach and positive attitude will help create a nurturing setting for clients, empowering them to maintain independence and quality of life. Fluency in Punjabi is essential to effectively communicate and build trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and protocols
Support patients with medical needs, including wound care or basic nursing tasks when required
Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe living workplace
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation or loneliness
Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary,

Experience
Prior experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home settings is highly desirable
Proven track record in patient care, senior care, or hospice care settings
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is preferred
Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during caregiving tasks
Strong communication skills in Punjabi; fluency is required for effective interaction with clients and families
