Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to Full Scope of Practice. NRP certified if not, then must be NRP certified within 3 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

IV Initiation IV Management Blood Glucose Monitoring Medication Management Maternal Child Assessment Skills Demonstrated ability to use connect care Work as a team player Endoscopy preadmission and Post op experience an asset There is chance to cross train to other nursing departments.
