At James Snow Animal Hospital, Milton, ON we are currently looking for a full time Veterinary Assistants to join our team.

-Ideal candidate will possess excellent client communication skills, a friendly personality, able to multitask and assist with various roles within the practice and needs to be compassionate and comfortable in handling dogs and cats.
Prior experience in an animal care setting/education in related field and knowledge of AVI mark or similar software is preferred.

-Duties include;

-Assisting veterinarians and other staff in various procedures.

-Restraining dogs and cats for examination and treatment.

-Booking appointments, invoicing

-Performing reception duties, answering phone calls and general inquiries regarding

services.

-Admission and discharge of pets from appointments.

-Helping clients with their pet’s visit and care.

-Assisting in taking radiographs.

-Performing minor procedures such as ear cleaning and nail trimming etc.

-Maintain cleanliness of work place.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
