We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive customer satisfication.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases in a professional manner
Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital transactions
Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds accurately
Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about merchandise
Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure proper merchandising at the register
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Manage time effectively during busy periods to reduce wait times and improve flow
Ensure adherence to store policies regarding cash handling and transaction procedures
Communicate effectively with team members to support overall store operations
Requirements
Previous experience in fast food resturants preferred.
Any Popeyes experience is preferable but not mandator.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Proficiency with POS systems.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers
Ability to upsell products tactfully to meet sales goals
Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Knowledge of merchandising techniques is advantageous
