Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up on dual spindle and dual turret CNC lathes (NAKAMURA - TOME) machines, to produce precision aerospace components and maintain ±0.0002" tolerance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes Machines (NAKAMURA - TOME).
Use precision measuring tools such as Bore gauge, Micrometer, and Thread gauge to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
Adjust machine settings based on measurement feedback to maintain quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
Robust mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
Proficiency with Fanuc controls.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced manufacturing environment
Requirement
Ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in setting up Nakamura - TOME machine — $35+ per hour.
