Duties
Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
Assist with food handling tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in food prep and service areas
Organize and store clean items efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations
Support the team during busy service times by quickly replenishing supplies and managing dish flow
Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards
Collaborate with staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service
Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred
Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads
Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and basic food hygiene principles
