850 Degrees is a busy, independently owned pizza restaurant in Etobicoke. We’re a close-knit team that takes pride in great food, a clean kitchen, and warm hospitality.

We’re looking for an energetic and dependable Kitchen Assistant who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a fast-moving team. Previous kitchen experience is welcome, but it isn’t required—we’ll provide training for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do
Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning produce, meat, and poultry
Prepare starters, desserts, and other menu items according to our recipes
Support the pizzaiolo and kitchen team during food preparation and service
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cutting boards, equipment, and cookware
Keep food-preparation areas, floors, walls, and equipment clean and organized
Receive deliveries and safely organize food and kitchen supplies
Move ingredients from storage to preparation areas as needed
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
Work quickly, calmly, and efficiently during busy service periods
Help wherever needed to keep the kitchen running smoothly
