Join our service team as a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician! In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of customer vehicles while upholding high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
Perform accurate mechanical, electrical, and computer diagnostics across diverse vehicle makes and models.
Execute preventive maintenance, major repairs, and safety service on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
Utilize diagnostic tools, hand tools, and technical schematics to troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently.
Perform SGI vehicle safety inspections (if certified) or collaborate with shop signing officers to process safety inspection documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized,



and secure workstation following all provincial shop safety guidelines.
Clearly communicate repair recommendations, job scope, and technical details to service managers or customers.

Qualifications & Experience
Journeyperson / Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification (or equivalent recognized trade credential).
An active SGI Vehicle Inspection Certification is considered a strong asset (or highly preferred).
Proven experience working in an automotive repair shop or dealership environment.
Proficient with contemporary diagnostic software, scan tools, and shop machinery.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
