The RoleThe Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of HR services, policies, and programs with the goal of fostering an employee-oriented, quality-focused, and high-performance culture at the manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario.This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring strong employee engagement, compliance, and effective HR administration across the plant.AdvantagesCompetitive salary range of $57,000 – $60,000 annually with opportunities to grow within the HR functionFull time permanent position with benefits and vacation after probationOpportunity to join a well-established manufacturing organization with a strong operational footprint in BrantfordHands-on HR role with exposure across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to employee relations and engagementDirect impact on plant culture, employee experience, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environmentExposure to both strategic HR initiatives and operational HR execution within a manufacturing settingSupportive environment where HR plays a key role in driving employee engagement and organizational successResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and people initiativesProvide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programsSupport full‑cycle recruitment activities including resume screening, background checks, and onboarding preparationCoordinate onboarding processes for new hiresSupport compensation, benefits administration, and organizational structure updates (job descriptions, charts, etc.)Assist with employee relations, communications,
and engagement initiativesMaintain HR databases and prepare regular reports for corporate HR and leadershipParticipate in employee and management meetings as requiredCoordinate annual Code of Conduct training completion for all employeesOversee employee service awards and recognition programsEnsure HR compliance with provincial legislation and internal policies through audits, recordkeeping, and investigationsMaintain accurate HR files (current and historical)Liaise with external HR providers including benefits vendors and legal counselSupport disciplinary documentation and processes alongside HR leadership and supervisorsAct as secretary for the Employee Committee, including meeting coordination and minutesAssist with employee events (BBQs, retirements, celebrations, etc.) and Social Committee activitiesSupport training and development coordination and schedulingAssist with employee engagement survey distribution and trackingSupport weekly payroll audits and attendance reportingCoordinate training sessions for plant employees, including on‑floor training with the safety teamManage HR and safety document filing and digital organizationSupport plant compliance audits and safety recognition initiativesRequirementsHR experience within a manufacturing or industrial workplace is a mustExperience implementing HR programs and initiatives in a plant setting is preferredExposure to change management in a manufacturing or operational environment is preferredFamiliarity with Visio is preferredExperience working with ADP and time and attendance systems is preferredStrong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong relationship‑building and collaboration skillsHigh level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentialityExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)#J-18808-Ljbffr
