Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this role is centered on the well-being of residents. You will engage in direct support, help develop individualized care plans, and maintain open communication with stakeholders. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you will facilitate personal development and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in creating assessments and support plans
Maintain documentation and community communication
Support individuals with hygiene and daily tasks
Organize recreational and educational activities
Attend meetings and contribute to program development
Requirements:
Educational background in child and youth care (diploma preferred)
Experience with behavioral challenges required
Must hold First Aid, CPR, and Mandt certifications (training provided)
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required
Must be 19 years or older
