About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Accountant to own our month-end close and full-cycle accounting operations. This is a hybrid role with flexibility on in-office days - you'll have autonomy to structure your week around what works best for the team and the business.
As a small, growing company, you'll get genuine exposure to all aspects of our financial operations: GL management, reconciliations, accruals, reporting, and board-level support.
You'll work closely with our leadership team to support fundraising and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead month-end close process and financial statement preparation
Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and accrual entries
Process payroll and coordinate with HR on compensation matters
Assist in the preparation of management, investor, and board reporting
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for growth
Build and document accounting procedures as we scale
Collaborate with external auditors and advisors
What We're Looking For
Robust technical accounting skills with month-end close experience
CPA designation or working toward it
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a lean environment
Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to wear multiple hats
Interest in scaling with the company (this role has real growth potential)
