We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and compassionate Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist to join our team. This is a hands‑on, client‑focused position ideal for someone who enjoys working with both animals and people in a fast‑paced veterinary setting.
Schedule
Friday through Monday
This is a regular 4-day-per-week position. Some flexibility with hours may be required based on clinic needs.
Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Assistant & Receptionist, you will help ensure our patients, clients, and veterinary team receive excellent care and support. Responsibilities include:
Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and responding to client inquiries
Checking patients in and out and processing payments
Maintaining accurate client and patient records
Assisting veterinarians and technologists with appointments and procedures
Handling, restraining, and caring for dogs and cats safely
Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized clinic
Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and treatment areas
Assisting with laboratory samples, medications, and other clinical tasks as directed
Providing compassionate patient care and monitoring hospitalized or recovering animals
Communicating clearly with clients regarding basic instructions and follow‑up care
Supporting the team wherever needed to keep the clinic running smoothly
Veterinary Assistant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude and a solid willingness to learn.

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
