As an FSQA Technician, you will be accountable for conducting food‑safety and quality sampling, testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and Aspire Bakeries’ AIMS program requirements.Shift & ScheduleHours: 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM / 5:45 PM – 6:00 AMWeekend availability: RequiredCompensationHourly Rate: $29.50 + applicable night/weekend premiumsCore Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)Execute sampling, testing, and documentation activities to support GFSI, HACCP, HARPC,
and GMP complianceSupport the Preventive Controls/HARPC Team in implementing the Food Safety PlanConduct chemical, physical, and microbiological testing using approved methods and instrumentationVerify product quality, conduct daily evaluations, and ensure compliance to specificationsMaintain accurate data entry—including SAP holds/releases, quality records, and test resultsPerform pre‑operational inspections and environmental monitoring activitiesIdentify, report, and elevate non‑conformances; hold product whenrequiredContribute to continuous improvement and support root‑cause investigationsMinimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)Post‑secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, Human Ecology, or related field1–2 years of experience in the food industry (bakery experience preferred)Strong written communication, math, and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Ability to taste/test ingredients and finished products (facility uses allergens: wheat, egg, tree nuts, soy, milk, sulphites)Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive workWe thank each applicant for taking the time and effort to submit a resume; however, only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
