As a Resident Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in assessing and ensuring high-quality care for residents. Your responsibilities include observing residents, assisting with bathing, and supporting daily living activities. Collaboration with the nursing team is essential to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to each resident's needs and strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
• Observe changes in resident's status and report to the Nurse
• Assist residents during bathing, feeding, and transfers
• Implement Nursing Care Plans to enhance resident well-being




• Monitor daily living activities and respond to issues
• Participate in inter-disciplinary resident care conferences
Requirements:
• Registered with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in continuing care setting
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience caring for residents with Dementia
• Ability to perform lifting and transferring tasks
