About the Role

PeopleConnect Staffing is currently hiring experienced Deboners, Butchers, and Meat Cutters for a recent federal meat processing facility opening in Arthur, Ontario. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for skilled meat processing professionals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in working in a rapid-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
Perform deboning, butchering, and meat cutting tasks according to production requirements.
Use knives and other cutting tools safely and efficiently.
Trim and prepare meat products according to customer and quality specifications.
Maintain high standards of product quality and yield.
Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures at all times.
Inspect products and remove defects when required.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with the production team.

Requirements




Previous experience as a Deboner, Butcher, or Meat Cutter in a meat processing facility is required.
Strong knife handling and cutting skills.
Experience working with beef, pork, poultry, or other meat products is an asset.
Ability to work in a refrigerated/cold workplace.
Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and product quality.
Reliable, punctual, and available to work overtime when needed.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
