We are looking to recruit a Frontline Supervisor who brings an understanding of supporting a dynamic team in a busy environment and has an appreciation of the varying needs of the people we serve.ResponsibilitiesPlan and assign tasks, delegate, and monitor work assignments and staff performance.Provide feedback and ensure client needs are met.Ensure proper flow of communication between sites and your team, and support follow‑up with emergency services and others as required.Oversee the frontline operations and safety of the site throughout your scheduled shift.QualificationsDegree or certificate in the social services field or equivalent education and experience.Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role,
including experience in:Direct oversight of the day‑to‑day operations of the site.Performance evaluation including ongoing coaching and feedback.Providing direction and delegation of tasks.Experience supervising in a unionized environment.High level of professionalism and integrity.RequirementsEmergency First Aid with CPR Level C.Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.Class 5 Driver's License with a transparent driver's abstract.Job InformationHourly Wage Rate:$33.77 - $38.77.Work Location:535 Ellice St - Rock Bay Landing.Work Days:Monday, Tuesday, Sunday & with alternating Wednesday.Work Time:13:15 pm to 12:00 am.Weekly Hours:35.00 hrs.Job Type:Full time - temporary until the return of the incumbent.Union:BCGEU.Benefits:We offer a comprehensive package that includes paid time off and long‑term disability.
