Road Heavy Vehicle Maintenance SupervisorResponsible for day‑to‑day management of mechanical maintenance activities for the truck and trailer fleet. Supervises mechanics, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, plans preventive and corrective maintenance, and serves as a technical reference within the garage.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Supervision and ManagementSupervise, coach, and mobilize a team of heavy vehicle mechanicsAssign tasks based on operational priorities and skill setsEnsure onboarding, training, and development of employeesEnforce occupational health and safety rules and intervene in case of non‑complianceMaintenance ManagementPlan and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleetEnsure compliance with Ministry of Transportation, CSA standards, and internal proceduresDiagnose or support complex mechanical diagnostics (engine, transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical)Validate the quality of repairs before returning vehicles to serviceOperational and Administrative ManagementMaintain maintenance, inspection, and repair records are up to dateCollaborate with external suppliers (inspection, specialized maintenance)Manage priorities based on operational needs and emergenciesParticipate in continuous improvement of garage work methodsHealth, Safety,
