We have a current opening for a Production Supervisor - Nutella and are actively reviewing applications.The Production Supervisor will coordinate the team members on the production line for the production execution during the shift and ensure productive factors availability (raw materials, packaging, and people) following Manager guidelines.Schedule12 hour Continental Shift, alternating bi-weekly between Day Shift (7a-7p) and Night shift (7p-7a)Main ResponsibilitiesResource AvailabilityEnsures the availability of packaging, semi-finished product and raw materials for the shiftManages and resolves availability issues related to packaging, semi-finished product and raw materialsPrepares picking list for raw materials and semi-finished productsSupports the AG in the monthly inventory adjustmentEnsures left over items (finished, semi-finished, bulk, raw materials) are returned to warehouse at the end of the weekProduction Planning / Shift HandoverSupports the planning of the operating activities on the lines within area of competencePrints the production programs and the production models and completes all the necessary actions shared with the UGP Manager for the production program executionSupports the Local Planning Department and the Team leaders for the in process changes of quantity to produceSupervises changeover activities, together with the Quality Department and Packaging Component ProvidersIn conjunction with Team Leaders and Maintenance, participates in and supports the equipment start up of the line of area of competenceVerifies and inspects cleaning activities completed by Operators and Team LeadersCompletes all shift handover responsibilities, supporting Team leader in communicating main information and issuesSupervises and collects data from Team Leaders in order to update Production system (SAP for line hours, manpower, waste and recyclables)Approves and submits all shift reports and shift end production declarationSafety and HygieneResponsible for the hygiene and sanitation compliance of the production areaSupports periodic scheduling of sanitation measures to rearrange work areas and disinfect equipment and toolsCollaborates with Quality Department and Team Leader in supporting and supervising auto-control activitiesWorkplace SafetyEnsures compliance with health & safety regulations not limited to and including the assigned production areaPeople ManagementResponsible for the accurate allocation of employees on the lines (absence and availability verification, team composition,



cross-lines and cross departments movement)Support the UGP Manager in the management of absenteeism and documentation due to scheduled vacations and unscheduled illnesses to ensure proper coveragePrepares the employee performance review and collaborate with the UGP Manager when requiredManages workplace personnel issues, respecting company guidelines and informing the UGP Manager and HRManages accidents on the line (first aid intervention, accident reporting, accident investigation) supported by the Team Leader, according to company guidelinesEnsures workplace training requirements are met for all personnel in areaMaintenanceRequests the intervention of the maintenance in the case of breakdown and repair service; in the cases of urgencyhe requests the intervention of the Utilities MaintenanceVerifies the maintenance interventions are performed in the scheduled time and according to hygiene and safety standardsEnvironmentalTo assist in the implementation of and conformance to the Environmental Management System within key process areasAbout YouKnowledge of production lines and machinery (production performance indicators, technological processes)Knowledge of stock management and production modelsKnowledge of planning techniquesKnowledge and application of production performance analysis methodsKnowledge and application of Ferrero Safety, Quality and Sanitation policies and proceduresKnowledge and application of production KPI'sStrong communications skills in a multi-cultural environmentDemonstrated ability to direct production employees in a proactive and positive mannerDemonstrated problem solving and leadership skillsAbility to troubleshoot technological problemsDemonstrated team building skillsKnowledge of production schedulingHuman resource management skillsAble to work with minimal supervision in a rotating shift environmentProficient with Microsoft Office tools; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointArtificial Intelligence DisclosureAs part of our recruitment process, Ferrero may use artificial intelligence (AI) enabled tools to assist with reviewing candidate applications.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
