At Toronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital we welcome a dependable and outgoing Animal Care Attendant to join our ICU team, in Scarborough, Ontario. This full-time chance includes a range of responsibilities which directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the department.

What You Will Do

- Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and offering a gentle voice of assurance
- Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents
- Schedule: Enjoy predictable time off with a 4-on, 4-off rotational schedule! You will work four consecutive 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), followed by four days off, including rotating weekends and holidays.

- The ability to stay calm, gentle, and adaptable under pressure and in fast-paced medical situations.
- A genuine eagerness to learn, grow your clinical skills, and support our veterinary team with daily tasks and treatments.
- Previous experience with animal care.
