Volunteer Opportunities
Assistant Coaches for Active Start
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week
Wednesdays - 6:00-6:40 pm Sept 23 to April 28/27
Assistant Coaches for FunDamentals
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/week
Wednesdays - 6:50-7:30 pm Sept 23 to April 28/27
Location for both: Hillcrest Public School, 1231 Fuller St.
London The role: This program is about physical literacy, learning about taking turns, listening to their coaches and playing as a team. As an assistant coach,
you come in and help the athletes through the warm ups, different games, skills, drills. The younger group focuses on basic movement skills, throwing, catching, kicking etc, while the older program begins to work on different sports after getting familiar with the program and equipment.
