Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Honey is a full time, on-site position based in Toronto, ON. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising aligned with Honey’s brand aesthetic.

The Assistant

Manager leads and coaches a small team, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and a welcoming, inclusive shopping environment. Daily responsibilities include assisting customers with styling and product selection, managing fitting room experiences, handling customer concerns, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.

Manager also helps track sales performance, supports scheduling, and contributes to promotional activities and in-store events to drive engagement and revenue.

Qualifications

- Retail leadership and customer service skills, including experience supervising teams, resolving customer concerns, and creating positive in-store experiences.
- Sales and merchandising skills, such as product styling, visual merchandising, and basic sales reporting or KPI tracking.
- Operational skills, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and use of point-of-sale systems.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, provide constructive feedback, and support a respectful, inclusive workplace.
- Strong interest in fashion and styling, with an eye for detail and alignment with Honey’s romantic and whimsical brand aesthetic.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Toronto, ON, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a senior retail role is preferred; experience in boutique or fashion retail is considered an asset.
- Reliable, organized, and proactive, with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and supporting store performance.
