OverviewJoin a high-impact engineering team delivering one of British Columbia's most significant transit infrastructure projects. As an Electrical Engineering-in-Training (EIT) – Field Engineer, you will contribute to the Surrey Langley SkyTrain (SLS) project by supporting the installation and delivery of advanced rail electrification systems, including traction power and Linear Induction Motor (LIM) technologies. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering and construction environment, you will gain valuable, hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle while helping shape innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.Your RoleSupport field inspection and verification of LIM and traction power rail systems to ensure compliance with engineering standards and design specificationsMonitor contractor installation activities and assist in resolving field issues, RFIs, and non-conformances (NCRs)Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and engineering stakeholders to facilitate installation progress and system integrationParticipate in site inspections, safety walks, and project meetings while maintaining accurate documentation and reportsAssist with testing, commissioning, energization, and system handover activitiesContribute to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of critical rail electrification infrastructureGain practical exposure to field engineering, system interfaces,
