Sales Support Specialist- on-site role located in Kitchener, CanadaHOURLY RATE of PAY: $45k-$65k CAD (based on a 12 month/annual term) (part-time, temporary position)JOB SUMMARY:The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Kitchener office, ensuring a highly organized, professional, and efficient environment that supports both internal teams and visiting customers.This role blends sales support, office management, and logistics coordination, with a primary focus on maintaining operational excellence across the showroom, sample library, and office infrastructure.The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned)Office Operations & Facilities Management (Primary Focus)Oversee daily operations of the Kitchener office to ensure an organized, efficient, and professional work environmentMaintain overall office functionality, including supplies, equipment, and vendor coordinationLiaise with internal teams and external vendors to support facilities, maintenance, and operational needsIncoming Mail (including cheque logging)Manage office inventory, ensuring adequate stock of supplies and materialsSample Library & Inventory ManagementOwn the sample library, including organization, labeling, and ongoing maintenanceTrack sample inventory, replenishment needs, and lifecycle managementCoordinate sample requests, returns, and shipments for sales reps and customersEnsure samples are showroom-ready and aligned with current product offeringsReceiving, Shipping & Mail CoordinationCoordinate all deliveries and receiving, including inspection, logging, and distribution of incoming shipmentsManage outbound shipments, including courier bookings and trackingHandle mail sorting and distribution, ensuring timely delivery to appropriate recipientsShowroom ManagementMaintain showroom cleanliness,
organization, and visual presentation at all timesEnsure displays are current, properly merchandised, and client-readySupport setup and reset of showroom for customer meetings and presentationsTradeshow & Event SupportSupport tradeshow preparation, including sample selection, packing, and shipping logisticsAssist with inventory tracking pre- and post-eventCoordinate materials and ensure timely execution of event logisticsSales & Customer Support (Secondary Focus)Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including sample orders, and basic quotingRA receiving, QC, tracking, and skiddingAssist with customer inquiries and follow-up as neededSupport onboarding tasks and coordination for current accountsCollaborate with sales and customer care teams to ensure a seamless customer experienceSKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
