As a permanent Kitchen Helper, you will assist in food preparation and service for the YWCA Café and social enterprise catering. Your responsibilities will include preparing menu items according to recipes, engaging with customers, and contributing to a positive kitchen environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while performing various kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide front of house customer service
• Prepare food for display in the café
• Assist with cooking and food preparation
• Serve meals and assist during events
• Maintain cleanliness and organize kitchen appliances
Requirements:
• Experience in food service or hospitality
• Secure Food Handling certification or willingness to obtain
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Criminal Record check willingness
• Ability to work varied shifts
