About SBW BrandsSBW Brands is an established, family-owned wine company based in Toronto, with a growing portfolio of modern California wine brands including STEL&MAR;, ANDREW and JAMES.

We are a small, entrepreneurial team where things move quickly, roles evolve and good ideas are always welcome. We're looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, keep us organized and help strengthen our processes as the company continues to grow.

We want someone who understands the numbers, notices when something doesn't look right, asks questions and is comfortable making recommendations.

The RoleYou'll manage the day-to-day bookkeeping operations of SBW Brands, working closely with the founders and finance team.

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, dependable and proficient in Odoo, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping, inventory and financial controls.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping in Odoo
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Manage inventory records and reconcile inventory activity
- Keep financial records and documentation organized
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
- Help improve day-to-day bookkeeping and inventory processes





Who We're Looking ForYou have solid bookkeeping experience and are comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations of a business.

Strong Odoo experience is important. We're looking for someone who can work confidently within the system and help us use it better.

You're organized, detail-oriented and proactive. You don't just enter transactions — you understand how the pieces fit together, flag things when they don't and follow through until they're resolved.

You're also personable and collaborative. You enjoy working as part of a team, are comfortable working directly with company founders and aren't afraid to suggest a better way of doing something.

Experience

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Odoo
- Experience with AP, AR and bank/credit card reconciliations
- Experience with inventory management and reconciliation
- Robust Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Experience preparing monthly financial statements
